Description
VJ-Gyroid Series: Vacuum-Jacketed TPMS Heat Exchanger
Computational Geometry. Innovative Design.
The VJ-Gyroid Series is a thermal device designed for vapor-phase, phase-change, and liquid-to-liquid applications. At its core is a monolithic Gyroid lattice—a Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) that provides a continuous, non-intersecting flow path for both fluid domains.
This mathematical architecture is utilized in a compact design, offering a distinct approach to thermal exchange.
The Gyroid Advantage
- Thermal Design: The continuous curvature of the Gyroid core is intended to promote thermal mixing.
- Vacuum-Jacketed Isolation: Integrated vacuum insulation is included to minimize parasitic heat transfer.
- Pressure Rating: Designed for a rating of 350 PSI, utilizing the structural characteristics of the Gyroid geometry.
- Surface Finish: Standard 30 RA finish, with optional polishing down to15 RA
- Construction: This unit is constructed from 316L Stainless Steel and is designed to minimize internal welds.
Applications
- Extraction & Solvent Recovery: Suitable for applications involving reflux control and vapor condensation.
- High-Purity Thermal Control: Potential use in applications requiring specific surface finishes and thermal isolation.
- Industrial Processes: Designed for high-pressure environments.
